Clinic Coaches
Beata Handra
Beata was a nationally ranked Ice Dancer with her partner Charles Sinek, representing the United States in the 2002 Olympics. She is a long time ice dance and skating skills coach working with a wide range of skaters, including National and Olympic competitors. Beata was born and raised in the Bay Area with her home in Oakland.
Nicole Popovich
Nicole graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and holds a personal and group training certification through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine). Her love of fitness and coaching stems from 18 years of competitive and professional figure skating at both the national and international levels. A Pennsylvania native, she followed her dreams of skating in professional ice shows after college, and ended up in the Bay Area! Nicole believes that what we learn from our sport and fitness journeys helps shape us into the people we are today, and loves to be able to share that with others.
Kim Navarro
Kim is a Two-Time U.S. Bronze Medalist in Ice Dance and Two-Time World Team Member. As a professional skater she has performed with Holiday on Ice, Broadway on Ice, Sun Valley On Ice, The Ice Theatre of New York and in the 2014 Olympic Team Tour of Stars on Ice. She has appeared in an episode of the television show Glee and competed with the skating act “Aerial Ice” on America’s Got Talent.
